MICRO-NEEDLING FACIAL TREATMENT

SkinPen Precision is the next generation Micro-Needling device, engineered in the USA by Bellus Medical. SkinPen is a Medical Class 11 Mechanical Micro-Needling device for the treatment of fine lines, wrinkles and scars.

As the skin ages the natural architecture of our skin deteriorates. This deterioration leads to fine lines, wrinkles, large pores and uneven skin texture.

SkinPen comfortably creates thousands of micro-injuries in the skin to trigger the body’s natural wound healing process. This process results in skin remodelling, including the formation of collagen and elastin, the two proteins predominantly responsible for the structure of the skin.

Any product applied to the skin during or immediately after a SkinPen Micro-Needling Treatment is absorbed into the basal layers of the skin.

TREATMENT

The SkinPen treatment can be performed any time of the year with a short procedure time of approximately 30 minutes. Micro-Needling reatments are available for face, neck, décolletage and hands, and is safe for all skin types. There may be some mild post-procedure effects, similar to a mild to moderate sunburn but with a quick 24 hour recovery time.

We recommend 3-6 procedures for optimal results.
